Inflatable play is normally a very safe and good way for children to exercise whilst having fun. Persons using the inflatable do so at their own risk. Please note that whilst every consideration has been given for the safety of children using the play centre, Campus West cannot be held responsible for accidents which occur as a result of children playing on the equipment.
For the safety of all persons and to help maximise your children’s enjoyment from the play experience, please abide by the following play rules of conduct:
- Parents and guardians MUST supervise children at all times whilst on the inflatable.
- The number of players should not exceed the maximum number required to use the inflatables at a time. The restrictions are as follows:
* Only 15 users are allowed on the Rainforest Multiplay.
* Not more than 4 users are allowed on the 10ft Platform Slide Party
* And a maximum of 2 players each are allowed at a time on the Bungee Run and Tumble Track - Our Bouncy Castle apparatuses are suitable for children between 4 and 11 years.
- Small and large children using the inflatable at the same time is not permitted. Groups using the castle should be made up of people of similar ages (children) and sizes.
- Any person with head, neck, back or other muscular-skeletal injuries or disabilities, pre-existing injuries, health concerns (recovering from surgery, limitations), pregnant women, and others who may be susceptible to injury from falls, bumps or bouncing are not permitted to use the castles.
- Any injuries regardless of severity should be reported to a member of staff. If you fall or hurt yourself please see a member of our staff.
- All shoes, bags, purses, badges, hard or sharp objects and jewellery must be removed before entering the castle. We also recommend glasses be removed.
- Socks must be worn at all times while in the play areas.
- No food or drinks including gum, candy and sweet is to be consumed whilst on the inflatable to avoid both mess and possibility of choking.
- No pets, face paints, party poppers, coloured streamers or silly string or sticky stuff are allowed on the inflatables as these make a terrible mess and can also stain the inflatable for which you will be liable for payment to clean or repair.
- Bouncing is not permitted on the step or near the entrance. Users must not bounce on the front step of the inflatable. The step is there to help users get on and off.
- Play at a safe distance from others and away from the sides and entrances / exits.
- When using the inflatable slides, users must ensure arms are crossed at front and slide down the centre of the slide in order to avoid touching the walls.
- Go down the slide feet first only. Going head first is not permitted as this may cause serious injury.
- One person to slide at a time per lane - Multiple riders at a time on a lane is unacceptable.
- Full clothing must be worn when sliding. Abrasion can occur, if skin is exposed.
- Sliding in or on the lap of others is not permitted.
- Do not jump onto or off the ride the wrong way.
- No acrobatic manoeuvres or rough play allowed. Somersaults, diving, wrestling, rough play and flips are prohibited.
- Pushing others off the inflatable, or lifting the inflatable in an attempt to dislodge others or behaviour which might put you or others at risk is strictly forbidden.
- Under no circumstances is climbing on the exterior, hanging, sitting on the walls or roof of the inflatable allowed.
- Water fights on the inflatable is not permitted.
- No smoking on or near the inflatables.
- Anyone not following the safety rules will be prevented from using the equipment immediately.
